Our two shops before......

SInce the last update, our buildings have been filled with a huge team of builders and electricians. Jobs ticked off the list so far include brand new bathrooms for staff upstairs and a move of the whole team's offices. We also have a temporary structure around the shop front to keep us looking a bit tidier. Tikk's old offices have been knocked through to the shop floor to become one huge area and we have lost about a third of our floorspace in Johnsons. It's a bit of a squeeze......!

This is the empty shell of Tikk, which will become part of our new floorspace.

To celebrate the release of James Bond Quantum of Solace, we held a Black Tie Gala Charity Screening, in aid of the Mary Ann Evans Hospice. Our guests were entertained at the Days Inn, Nuneaton with a fantastic buffet, driving and shooting games and an appearance from a James Bond car before moving over to the Odeon cinema for a pre-release screening of Quantum of Solace. The evening was a resounding success, raising over £5000 for our chosen charity, thanks to the generosity of our guests and local organisations who donated their time and services.

Shop Manager Dave Brennan was recently invited for a Bentley experience weekend, courtesy of luxury Swiss watchmaker Breitling. Staying in the five star Rookery Hall in Cheshire, Dave met former F1 driver Derek Bell and was given a tour of the Bentley factory in Crewe, to appreciate how the craftsmanship of a Bentley compliments that of a Breitling timepiece. To top off the weekend, he was then let loose in the Cheshire countryside, test driving a Bentley Continental GT.Dave hasn’t stopped grinning since his test drive and has since started saving for a Bentley.
