November 15th 2012 – Yesterday, the cheque presentation for our successful Skyfall premiere evening was featured in the Nuneaton News! We raised a total of £4,300 for the Mary Ann Evans Hospice, and a photo from the cheque presentation can be viewed below –
October 26th 2012 – Last Night, Johnsons Jewellers hosted a Charity premiere of the new James Bond film, Skyfall, released in cinemas today. British Par 3 Golf Championships at Nailcote Hall 7th-10th August –
This event will be televised live on Sky (look out for us on the 7th hole) and plays host to a huge array of big names from the world of golf in addition to well known celebrities from the world of television, sport and the media. Johnsons Jewellers are proud to be sponsoring this fantastic event and we would like to take this opportunity to wish everyone involved with the event the best of luck.
TW Steel Event Saturday 25th August – Ever fancied yourself as the next Lewis Hamilton? We are holding an in-store event with TWSteel and are lucky enough to have a Lotus F1 car here for the day. Alongside this there will be race simulators so you can try out your driving skills – pop along and have a go – the fastest lap time over the course of the day will win a TWSteel watch (Model to be announced on the day). May 30th 2012 – Last night, we were the hosts of the launch event for the new magazine, Inspirational. The stunning new magazine has been expertly produced by Champions UK and is full of interesting articles, stunning pictures and a wealth of gift ideas. Johnsons Jewellers are extremely proud to be asked to be a major part in the new magazine.
Guests on the launch night were able to meet Charles Mitchell Wine suppliers who had a fantastic array of white and red wines, and some beautiful champagne for tasting. The wine was accompanied with some elegant and spectacular canapés from the award winning catering company The Red Olive. Cucumber and Thai Beef, Filo wrapped prawns and mini strawberry sorbet cones were among the delightful treats for the guests.
Entertainment was provided by Georgia Holland who mingled with guests and charmed us all with her beautiful singing voice with songs old and new.

May 11th 2012 – Johnsons Jewellers are very pleased to announce the arrival of Clogau Gold in to our store.
For nearly 20 years, Clogau Gold has been producing fine jewellery, containing a touch of rare welsh gold within each piece.
Welsh Gold originates from the Clogau St Davids’ Mine, nestled deep within the mountains of Snowdonia and is traditionally used by the Royal Family for their wedding rings, with the most recent being the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge in April 2011. Originally founded in 1854 when the director of the Clogau copper mine accidently discovered gold, the mine went through mixed fortunes with the gold veins being inconsistent and difficult to locate. The mine was later founded by William Roberts in 1989 who conducted a few years worth of small scale mining before its eventual close in 1998. Clogau Gold still produces stunning pieces of jewellery inspired by their connection with the royal family and the natural beauty of Wales with William’s son Ben at the helm as Managing Director. Today, there are no active gold mines in Wales, making Welsh gold extremely valuable as supplies diminish.
Due to the scarcity of welsh gold, only a touch is included within each piece of Clogau Gold. This ensures the longevity of welsh gold supplies and the affordability of the jewellery.

March 27th 2012 – Every year over 1800 watch and jewellery companies set up stands at the Baselworld trade show in Switzerland. This year, over 1800 companies, ranging from the biggest and best brand names to the small family-run businesses attended Baselworld to launch their new products for 2012. So, what’s new at Baselworld?

March 2012 – We are pleased to announce that we will be visiting Baselworld in Switzerland where around 1800 companies from the watch, jewellery and precious stones industries will be showcasing their collections.
